The little stand/tripod is more functional than I thought because not only does it hold your camera upright but you can angle it up or down; eg, you could put it on the ground and take a picture of yourself standing up. The case is very sturdy plastic but looks like metal. It will effectively protect those sensitive lcd screens. It fits the Kodak CD82 very snuggly with no room to spare.
