The Zune dock elegantly displays your Microsoft Zune media player anywhere in your home or office for easily customizable media access. The dock features a pair of built-in outputs for maximum versatility: a connector port for syncing and charging your Zune, and an audio/video output with a built-in audio amplifier. The connector port is a handy option for people who want to sync or charge their Zune without fumbling under the desk for the sync cable, as the cable instead plugs right into the dock. The A/V port, meanwhile, lets you connect the dock to a stereo system or TV for full-featured playback. In both cases, all you have to do is drop your Zune into the dock and it will charge, sync, or playback via the connected devices–no extra connections required. Plus, the dock includes an integrated IR receiver for use with the Zune wireless remote (sold separately). The IR receiver and remote give you quick access to your current playlist, as well as full control over menu navigation and volume. The dock even includes a small built-in slot that holds the remote–a convenient and stylish way to store the remote when not in use. As with all Zune accessories, the dock is backed by a 1-year warranty.
The Zune dock elegantly displays your Zune device anywhere you go. |
The dock also has an integrated slot to hold the wireless remote. |

This dock was a waste for me. It came with the Home AV Pack. I wanted a durable zune case that would look good and protect the screen at the same time. The Toughskin case does all three and is EXACTLY what I was looking for protection. The only down side to the Toughskin case is that the zune will not fit in this docking station while it is in the case. I believe that is an engineering problem of the docking station. This is NOT a bulky case, it fits the zune perfectly, however, even with removing the insert of the docking station, the zune does not fit the dock while in the case. Why they didn’t make a docking station that would accommodate a zune in a fitted case, makes no sense. No one is going to want to take the trouble of removing a case each time they dock their zune. They should take these docking stations back from customers who feel as I do and replace them at THEIR expense with something that works! As for the Toughskin case, I highly recommend it; the other cases just didn’t seem to offer this quality of protection while also having a nice professional appearance.

i ordered the zune dock and got this sierra wireless 595u cocking cradle usb station. i ordered it from Reagan Wireless i try to send it back and no ones there to answer and now its past fourteen days so i cant return it for my cash back. so be careful you might not actually get what you put your cash in to. but in stead something worth nothing at all.

over this works pretty good. I saw the price difference between this dock and the second version so i went with this dock. I have the 120 zune and didnt k no if it fit and it didnt
i tried removeing the faceplate but they werent very specific on how to do that but i eventually ripped it off with some pliers. and now it works great. The zunes not to sturdy since i ripped off the cover but still it works great. I would reccoment getting the zune a/v cables cause with other cables the picture doesnt look too great. And to see anything on the tv the cable charger cable must be plugged into the dock and computer or power outlet. but it looks great

I found this accessory to be quite useful to me. With this easy to use dock, I am able to connect it to my TV and stereo system via the AV cable. I can then scroll through my library using the Zune remote and play songs/videos. Remember that only a genuine Zune dock cable will work with the dock so don’t use a generic one.

this works and looks nice. It does require power from the Zune USB connector. You also need to supply your own audio cable, but you don’t have to use the Zune branded audio cables.
